Science Matters (NSTA) - Design Challenge Labs
Teachers can access engineering-design lab lesson plans from California's Tech Museum of Innovation. The labs are readily available materials and explore electromagnetism, solar energy, force and motion, chemical properties, engineering and earthquakes, and genetics, and electricity.

Virginia Aerospace Science and Technology Scholars (VASTS)
A NASA-based program for 11th grade students and STEM teachers who are interested in aerospace-related science, technology, engineering and/or math (STEM).

Virginia Space Coast Scholars
A NASA-based program for 10th grade students who are interested in NASA's space and Earth science related missions.

Youth Rover Challenge
A multi-tier robotics education development program, sponsored by The Mars Society, YRC is a STEM related educational effort that is designed for schools and organizations with students or members in grades 5-12 to have a chance to build and compete at a global level with a LEGO Mindstorms NXT 2.0 based robotic rover and competition arena intended to simulate the surface of Mars.

Innovative Technology in Science Inquiry (ITSI) Project:
ITSI engages students in grades 3-12 in STEM activities involving modeling, computational thinking, and real-time data acquisition.
