School Board Seeks Input on Superintendent Characteristics

Your Opinion CountsThe Montgomery County School Board seeks input on desired characteristics of a new superintendent. This input will be gathered through an online survey and through open community meetings.

The survey is available from August 6 through August 19 at www.ecrasurvey.com/MCPS.

A list of open community meetings is provided below.
Monday, August 17, 7:30 p.m., Christiansburg High School Cafeteria
Monday, August 17, 7:30 p.m., Blacksburg High School Cafeteria
Wednesday, August 19, 7:00 p.m., Auburn High School Dining Commons

Business leaders throughout the community are invited to provide input in a luncheon to be held at noon on Monday, August 17. Business representatives are asked to RSVP by calling (540) 382-5104 for this event.

A meeting for service and community groups will be held on Tuesday, August 18, at 7:00 p.m. Representatives from these groups are asked to RSVP by calling (540) 382-5104.
