Capital Planning - Christiansburg Feasibility Study

Ongoing Projects:

The expansion of Falling Branch Elementary School is in process. The new instructional wing will add 19 classrooms to the school and will remove all mobile units. Students will be able to move into the new wing by August 2018.

Improvements to the CHS athletic fields are in the design phase now. The new football field and rubberized track will be ready for play in the summer of 2018. Prioritizing athletic projects will lessen the funds needed for the full renovation in 2022, when the County has additional borrowing capacity for a large project.
