Pulaski County Public Schools announced today that Kevin Siers, Ed.D., principal at Christiansburg High School, will serve as the new PCPS superintendent beginning tomorrow.
“We are excited that Dr. Siers will have this opportunity,” said Superintendent Mark Miear. “He has been an outstanding representative for MCPS and we wish him well on this new venture.”
The search for a new principal will start immediately. A public input session for new principal qualities will be held on Monday, August 15, at 5 p.m. at CHS. Parents, staff members and members of the community are invited to participate in the session to share what they want to see in a new principal.
“I am certain that the current administrative staff at CHS will ensure a smooth transition while we search for a new principal,” said Superintendent Mark Miear. “We hope to have someone on board by the end of the month.”
