Hi! My name is Amy Greer-Knowles. I committed to graduate from Greenbrier East High School in Lewisburg, West Virginia in 1981. Go Spartans! In 1985, I committed to graduate from Concord College in Athens, West Virginia with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. Go Mountain Lions! I then committed to graduate from Radford University in Radford, Virginia in 1989 with a Masters Degree in Learning Disabilities. Go Highlanders! In 2011, I committed to achieving certification by the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards. Today, I am committed to providing my first graders with great instruction and to make learning fun! 

I met my husband at Concord and we have twin daughters who attend Christiansburg High School. You’ve probably seen them running with their team. They love to run! I am a West Virginia Mountaineer through and through and cheer loudly for the mighty Mountaineers! I also enjoy cheering on the Christiansburg Blue Demons, reading, gardening, kayaking, running 5K races with my daughters, and hanging out with my family.
