    MCPS has selected both inclusion
    and pull-out approaches for English
    as a Second Language instruction,
    focusing on the four language skills
   of reading, writing, listening and speaking.

    Our mission is to help limited English proficient
students to:

• learn conversational and academic English
• succeed academically and socially
• become familiar with the culture of the United
